Finding a Speech and Language Therapist can seem like an unworldly chore to many clients, parents and carers who contact our team.
Hopefully you can find some degree of support through your local NHS Speech and Language therapy Department. Here at Integrated treatment Services, we will endeavour to help you access some local NHS provision if you are in agreement. We will help you find the contact details and the referral forms for your local department in order to start the process. Some clients, parents and carers contacting I.T.S are already known to the NHS system, but benefit from our support to help them access the service more readily.
We do acknowledge, that many of our clients will be looking to supplement the NHS provision, due to long waiting lists for initial appointments and even longer waits to receive therapy.
Finding a therapist to suit your needs should be an easy process with Integrated treatment Services.
We aim to look at your;
- Geographical location
- Clinical needs
- Request for specific methods of therapy approaches
A therapist from our team can then make the arrangements to visit you in your own home or associated setting nursery, school, community or work setting.
We appreciate that if our clients are paying to supplement NHS therapy then budgets need to be carefully considered. We will work with you to ensure we can establish an effective therapy plan, within your budget.
Finally if we are unable to meet your therapy needs, we will always look to put you in touch with our colleagues from other organisations. We also have excellent links to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Music Therapists, Cognitive Neuro-pyschologists, Practice General Practioners and Alternative Treatments.
