Sara is a bilingual (Welsh–English) Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, specialising in paediatric complex needs. She is a caring, motivated and passionate individual who strives to ensure that every child and young person is given the opportunity and support to reach their potential and communicate effectively in the best way possible.
Sara has clinical experience working across a range of settings including nurseries, mainstream and special schools and homes across a broad age range of 0-19 years. She uses person-centred, neuro-affirming and trauma informed approaches through focusing on the priorities, concerns and goals of the young person and their family. Primarily works with children and young people who are non / minimally speaking and use AAC daily along with Total Communication approaches.
